FREE LOCAL IN-BOX DELIVERY ONLY APPLICABLE FOR ADDRESSES WITHIN THE CALGARY CITY LIMIT (FOR ALBERTA) AND ADDRESSES WITHIN 20KM OF THE CLOSEST ONTARIO STORE LOCATION (BURLINGTON, OAKVILLE, OR ETOBICOKE).

Barbecues Galore only ships to Canadian addresses except for addresses in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut (it’s not that we don’t like those folks, it’s just, man, it’s pricey to get stuff sent up there).

We do not ship LARGE ITEM ORDERS to Vancouver Island (or any surrounding islands), New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. 

What if a product shows one of the below stickers?

 

Barbecues Galore has shipping zones controlled by the inventory of each province.

  • Our Alberta warehouse ships products only to Western Canada (this includes British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba).
  • Our Ontario warehouse ships products only to Eastern Canada (including Ontario, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island). 

If a product is sold out in Alberta, we are not able to ship product from Ontario to Western Canada and vice versa.

We do NOT ship products on a skid to PO BOX addresses. Items shipped on skids include all barbecues, fire tables, and other large items. If a PO BOX address has been entered into order for a skidded product, we will cancel the order or seek a shipping depot nearest to the customer, for customer to PICK UP from. 

Note: We will only ship via Canada Post if you enter a PO Box, at which point you may be subject to delays. Otherwise we will use a different parcel courier. 

Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days for all in-stock products. If a product is out of stock, Barbecues Galore will send an email to notify you of estimated date of shipment. Please note, Barbecue Butler orders may take longer to be delivered depending on current booking status (during barbecue season, we may be booking 1-3 weeks ahead).

Orders will be shipped Monday to Friday between 9:00 am - 5:00pm. Shipments may take 1-10 days to arrive depending on date shipped and distance from supplying warehouse. What can we say – it’s a big country. Once the order has shipped, an email will be sent with the tracking number(s). After it's left our warehouse, it's in the hands of the courier. 

Some shipments may be sent in multiple pieces due to size or weight of items and as a result may arrive at different times or via different carriers.

Orders with a “Ship To” address that differs from the “Bill To” address can expect a phone call to authenticate credit card/payment details. Credit card fraud is alive and well in Canada – we’re trying our best to avoid it.

Large items ordered online are shipped via common carrier and will be delivered to your curbside, in a box, unassembled. If you order a large, heavy item online, have a plan for how to handle it when the shipping elves show up in front of your house.

Please be aware of the possibilities of additional fees charged by the courier. This applies to all orders (free shipping or paid)

Shipping Offer On Parts and Accessories

We are currently offering FREE shipping on select parts and accessories orders of over $99. Exclusions apply to free shipping.

Barbecue fuels (charcoal, woodchips, etc.), edibles, and select parts and accessories are not included.

Areas that we will not offer FREE shipping include the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Vancouver Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and other remote cities located within Canada.

Please note: BarbecuesGalore.ca reserves the right to cancel, reject, correct or terminate at any stage of the order processing, including after an order has been submitted and confirmed, and your credit card has been charged. In the event your order is canceled by BarbecuesGalore.ca after your credit card has already been charged, BarbecuesGalore.ca will immediately refund your payment card account in the exact amount of the charge. Individual bank or credit union policies will determine when the amount is credited to your account. We are unable to have a refund appear faster on your credit card, as this is out of our control.

Shipping Offer On Large Items Such As Barbecues

During certain promotions, we'll offer free shipping on large items for a limited period of time. Exclusions apply to free shipping.

FREE shipping on all large items excludes shipping to Quebec. If you are seeking shipping to Quebec, please see our Quebec shipping policy section below.

Quebec

Yes, Quebec, we can take your large orders, but NOT through BarbecuesGalore.ca. We receive many fraudulent orders for large products from Quebec and do not take large online orders on this website, however, we do take them by e-transfer. The only difference besides payment method is that you do not need to place the order online. Please email the products you'd like to purchase to: query@barbecuesgalore.ca with your first and last name and shipping address. We will then reply with your total, including shipping fee, and steps to fulfill payment. Please note, large item purchases from Quebec are not qualified for Free shipping.

After we receive the e-transfer, it will be queued to our warehouse. Product will then follow the same shipping procedure as other orders. After leaving our warehouse, delivery is then dependent on individual couriers.

Buy Online, Pick Up In Store

Pick up in store is available at all five Barbecues Galore locations across Canada. We will contact online pickup customers when the order is ready and provide directions to pick up the order from our store. 

Orders will be processed and made available for pickup within 1-2 business days for all in-stock items. For assembled barbecue pickup, please expect to be contacted for pickup within 48-72 hours. If an item is out of stock, Barbecues Galore will send an email to notify you of estimated date of arrival.

IMPORTANT FOR PICK UP ORDERS

When picking up orders, you will be asked to show your confirmation email and a piece of government issued photo I.D. If someone other than you is picking up the order, you will need to inform us either in the order comments or by replying to the order confirmation email. You will also need to forward your confirmation email to the person picking up and ensure they bring photo ID that matches the name you have told us is picking up your order.

Please note: you have 7 DAYS to pick up your order. If order is not picked up within 7 days, we will automatically return the items and refund your credit card. Non-refundable restocking fees will apply for special order items.

Please do not come pick up your order without receiving notification from us that your order is ready. One of our team members will 'give you a ring' when your order is ready for pick up. You will also receive an email notifying you.

Parcel Shipping

We use a variety of carriers including Canada Post, CanPar, Fedex, Purolator and more. We use the courier with the best price.

Special Order Items

Don't get us wrong, we have tons of product in our stores and warehouses. That said, there are a few items that we just a) don't have the room for, b) they're a little more unique, or c) we only bring them in when we get an order for them. 

The turnaround time on these items vary by supplier. If you purchase a Special Order Item, we will contact you within the next business day to give you an ETA for the item. 

Special Order items may be subject to a freight charge that is not included in the price on our website. 

Returns: We get it, sometimes you change your mind on an item, or maybe it wasn't what you were expecting. Special Order items can only be returned with a return fee. This fee is a percentage of the price of the item.

Gift Cards

We offer two types of gift cards:

In-Store Use

These gift cards are plastic and can be used in any of our five retail stores in Calgary, Burlington, Oakville, and Etobicoke. These get processed through merchant machines so they cannot be used online. 

In-Store Gift Cards can be made available for pick up in store or sent via Canada Post. If you would like to receive it sooner, and have it tracked, then we can send it via Purolator for a small fee. 

Online Use

These gift cards are of the virtual variety. When you purchase these, an email is automatically sent to the email address provided with the digital gift card code. This number gets entered in the payment portion of the checkout process on our website. 

You can forward the email to the recipient or print it out and give it to them. These must be redeemed online.

Returns

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, or have received product that is defective, or was shipped in error, you may request a return by emailing us at: shipping@barbecuesgalore.ca. Barbecues Galore must authorize all return requests before product is returned or refund will not be processed.

Please provide your order information and a brief explanation of your reason for return.

All purchases made at BarbecuesGalore.ca can be refunded online or in any of our five stores. Refund time takes between 3-5 business days, this depends on your credit card company. We have no ability to make the refund appear any sooner.

Items returned within 30 days in your possession (start date is when item was delivered or picked up), in perfect, unused condition (including all manuals and packaging materials), will be refunded for the amount of the product only. Shipping fees will not be refunded.

If product is returned used, in poor condition, or there are pieces missing or damaged, Barbecues Galore reserves the right to refuse the return or deduct the value of the missing or damaged parts.

Freight charges for returns will be the responsibility of the customer, unless product was shipped to you defective or in error. If product was received defective or damaged, it can be returned for full refund or exchange for the same product.
